The Bay of Roses is located in a privileged location on the Costa Brava, full of natural treasures distributed among the four municipalities that make it up: Roses, Castelló d’Empúries-Empuriabrava, Sant Pere Pescador and l’Escala. It is located in the north of Catalonia, Spain, 40km from the border with France and 150km from Barcelona.

To the north of the Bay we find natural values such as the Natural Park of Cap de Creus, the place where the Pyrenees reach the sea. Then we pass through the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park, located between the Muga and Fluvià rivers. And on the southernmost side we find the Natural Park of Montgrí and Illes Medes.

La Badia is also a unique location for the history of civilizations, within the remains of ancient Greek and Roman settlements, such as the Ciutadella de Roses.
