Kujukushima Bay

The Kujukushima Bay is the sea area where where are 208 large and small islands scattered about 25 km north from the outside of the Sasebo port.
Most of them are desert islands that intact nature remains and are designed as a national park.
The intricate coastline of Kujukushima Bay nurtures phytoplankton, and the aquaculture industry produces a variety of seafood such as tiger puffer fish, sea bream, yellowtail, oysters, and pearls from the rich natural bounty.
