Drawing Competition – Call for Participation for Young People Under 14Drawing contest –

The Youth Committee of the Association of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World (APBBM) is pleased to invite you to participate in a drawing competition for young people under 14 years old, residing in each of the bays in our network.

This competition, in partnership with the Veolia Foundation, will reward four (4) winners with cash prizes to fund educational activities related to sustainable development in their schools or classrooms. The winners will be honored at the APBBM annual conference, to be held in Canada in September 2025.

“The competition initiated by the Youth Committee is part of our commitment to fostering the effective involvement of children and young people in the sustainable development of our bays and highlighting their conservation and awareness-raising efforts,” said Louis Thébault, President of the Association of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World.

Contest Objectives
Through this competition, we aim to encourage the creativity of young people while raising awareness of the importance of preserving the biodiversity of our bays. The competition is open to all young people under 14 years of age residing in APBBM member bays.

Conditions of Participation
· Participating schools can register their students by submitting their drawings and the registration form to the representative of their respective bay before the deadline of March 15, 2025.
· Subsequently, the representative of that bay will submit a maximum of two drawings from schools in their area to the Youth Committee.
· The final selection will be made by an international jury.
